Returning to art after so many years was like finding a long lost love. I had worked in oil, acrylic, watercolor and printmaking. But when I recently tried pastels, I was hooked. The colors you can find in a world filled with ever changing light, is amazing to me. And pastels are a medium where these colors can be depicted in their brilliance and subtleties, and in my imagination. I am excited about each painting I do and anxious to see where the journey will lead me.
